Every year the Roger Tory Peterson Institute offers exciting events and spectacular natural history exhibitions that attract thousands of visitors. The Artwork of Robert Bateman, Backyard Monsters: The World of Insects, and Art and the Animal are just a few of the exhibits that have been featured at RTPI. Our feature exhibit for the summer of 2008 was The Roger Tory Peterson Centennial Exhibit: Original Paintings by the Master Nature Artist. This unique and educational exhibit gave visitors a rare glimpse into the spectacular life and work of the foremost naturalist of the twentieth century, Dr. Roger Tory Peterson. Visitors from around the country were excited to view approximately 50 original paintings by Peterson, as well as artifacts from our Peterson Collection. If you would like to learn more about the special exhibits and events that RTPI has to offer please check our exhibitions and events schedules regularly.
