A: The Bull Snake (Pituophis melanoleucus) feeds mainly on rodents but also an occasional bird. Depending on the size of your animal, you may be able to get pinkies (baby mice) or adult mice through a pet store. If you're feeding your snake dead foods, it may take a while to get your snake used to taking these as they're programmed to find and grab living rodents. I'd also google this animal and see what kinds of things you can find out - the more you know about its needs, the better you'll be able to care for it. Your local pet store may have some ideas too. Even though they're got non-native snakes there they'll have all kinds of ideas about feeding and housing.
Good luck to you.
