Please identify bones..

Q: Discovered in field that was flooded at some point. Several different bones in small area.

A: Wow, what an interesting mystery! My first reaction when seeing your photos is that these are NOT bone at all. This looks more like coral to me - not sure if fossilized or not. I'd really need to hold this in my hand and examine closely before I could make any kind of pronouncement. I think your best bet is to find a geologist or biologist (nearby university?), let them handle them and see what they think.
In any event, I'd really love to know what you find out. Thanks for asking and I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
