Goosebumps

Q: Do goosebumps cause your hair to get longer on your legs? After I have recently shaved my legs and I get the goosebumps, my legs no longer my as smooth as they did before I had gotten the goosebumps, why is this?

A: Goosebumps do nothing to promote growth. The reason you feel the hairs on your leg more easily with goosebumps is due to the fact that the hairs are "standing up" and you feel the prickly ends more easily.
